Date of Visit: 3.10.2025 Cuisine Type: American Sandwiches Vibe: Relaxed, Clean, Beach Bar Cost: ~$10-$16 per person depending on what you order What I Ordered & How It Was: Turkado - $13, Turkey Breast, Jack Cheese, Avocado, Sourdough Bread, no Mayo, Onion, Tomato & Lettuce. It is a typical sandwich with pressed meats, vegetables and mayo, cut into a triangle. Everything was fresh. The ratios are for the most part, pretty good where you don't take a bite and everything just falls out. The thing that makes B&B special is their orange sauce. I believe it is a variant of thousand island with more spice and acid. You can ask for quite a bit of that and it makes each bit a bit more festive and unique. Also, you can ask for the Au Ju as well if you want to make your sandwich fall apart but it is good broth (both of the sauces are free) Service & Atmosphere: Service: Friendly, Attentive, Fast, Food came out after 5-10 minutes Ambiance: The space is in the corner of the plaza. There is plenty of parking but can get really busy during the weekends. The interior is table seating with some bar seating, and booth seating. There is basically no privacy inside as new customers come in from the sides next to the booths. There is also some outside seating with tables/chairs and big table/benches with umbrellas for the sun. When you are outside there is a view overlooking the Mira Mesa exit on the 15 Freeway. Overall Thoughts: Best thing I ate: That orange sauce. Something to improve: I wish the bread can hold the content better. I think i will need to get a french baguette instead of the sourdough bread. Would I come back? I don't really like to go out to eat sandwiches as I usually come here if someone else suggests this spot. If I ever crave a sandwich (doubtful), I'll def come here!

This location is not closest to me but I go here bc of the staff, the kitchen is absolutely stellar, and the patio is HUGE and overlooks the freeway. Having lived in an Urban area before I love hanging out and watching the cars go by, facing the sunset. Can't beat that! I often dine alone but have brought and know many friends that LOVE B&B. This particular location is by weekly (literally...) go-to! Super friendly staff, great beer list that comes with properly cleaned taps (anyone who has worked industry knows the diff in taste) so the beer tastes like that beer should, clean, convenient -- there is absolutely no negatives I have to say about this location! Come hang out and meet the amazing team including the friendly and efficient manager Ari and super nice front of house Jordan, Alexis, and Arieli !

Luke was great when I was ordering we chatted for a while about life. Kid has a great head on his shoulders. Food was awesome.

Came for lunch yesterday and had the pleasure of having Alexis take our order. It was extremely busy as it was around noon, during the lunch rush. Food was great and came out rather quickly. I want to commend Alexis for great service and attitude. I noticed that it seemed busier than usual. Alexis had a smile, had a great attitude about the line, the orders and those waiting. I appreciate good service and the B&B staff went over and above. Having staff like Alexis on the team does wonders for a team, the business and its customers. Keep up the great work!

I had an amazing experience here on Sunday. The shift lead Kia helped me out so much with making my sandwich better by informing me about the add ons that I could make to the sandwich! It tasted delicious! I loved the vibes of the place because of how uplifting it felt! I will definitely be taking some of my family here when I visit again!

I logged into Yelp JUST to write this review. We stopped in today after my daughter's EMG (mind you we were in sad spirits awaiting her results) and the team of workers at opening time were SO KIND! My daughter loved the cashier (didn't catch her name) because she resembled Moana lol. The food was superb, I had the club, and my fiancée had the pastrami... and we both are foodies and upcoming content creators so we've had a lot of food, A M A Z I N G. The flavor, balance and size of the sandwiches was perfection. Kindly the server brought my daughter chocolate chip cookies that were just baked. This goes to show you, always be kind to others because you never ever know what they're going thru. The owner should be extremely proud of her team.
